The NARGC is saddened to hear of the passing of P J Rosney on the 21st of April 2025.. A lifelong shooting enthuasist he was deeply involved in his local club, and Co Offaly RGC for many years. He was an officer in Co Offaly RGC, where his voluntary work helped many fellow members. He was a member of the NARGC governing body for years representing his RGC and the members in Co. Offaly. PJ is known the length and breath of the country from this involvement. Many county delegates sent their condolences to the NARGC on hearing this sad new. PJ was a pleasure to meet at the NARGC meetings and functions as he always had a word for everyone, and enjoyed the banter and exchanges that are so much part of the comradery and exchanges at these meetings. PJ will be sadly missed. The NARGC extend their sympathy to the Rosney family, and his fellow gun club members in Clara and Offaly.
May he rest in Peace.
