Predator Control - The Need for it

"Survival of the Fittest" Degradation and destruction of Habitats - Predators have adapted and thrived - Ground nesting birds particularly have been decimated.

Predator Control - The Need for Control

Predator control is part and parcel of being a member of a game hunting club.

With diminished habitat and cover for all species including game birds, predator control has become more vital than ever. A club member cannot expect Game to be present if he or she is not working to control vermin throughout the year.

We engage in predator control to:

  •  Protect vulnerable wildlife from predators such as foxes and grey crows.
  • Assist sheep and poultry farmers to protect their stock.
  • Supporting rare species such as the grey partridge.
  • Remove invasive species such as mink.
